The Aios™ Rich Media Player (RMP) reference design is a fully-integratedWi-Fi (802.11n)
based music player. It includes a 3.5” full color LCD display featuring an intuitive
icon-based user interface, IR controller and built-in 100 W digital power amplifier for
direct connection to any passive speakers. Multiple RMPs can be configured into zones including whole-home “Party Mode”. The RMP can be controlled using the on-device display through buttons on the RMP or an IR remote, the Aios.h™ handheld graphical controller or the Aios.c™ PC application, or a combination of all of these interfaces. The RMP allows connection of an iPod and other music sources for streaming throughout the home over USB, digital (SPDIF) or analog (line-in) connections. The out-of-box setup experience is extremely simple, whether connecting to an existing home Wi-Fi network or where there is no network in the home and the audio quality is defiantly high-end. |
