The Aios™ platform includes a range of turn-key music player reference designs, controllers, and PC Zone and Media software. The technology behind Aios™ solves the key problems of distributed, whole-home networked audio including playback and event synchronization, key user interface issues relating to multi-zone device and media management and reliability of music streaming to multiple nodes over Wi-Fi. The Aios.w™ music player range includes designs with embedded user interfaces (on-device display) and audio power amplifier options. The platform also supports direct integration into loudspeakers and networked bedroom radios (boom-boxes). The platform supports streaming and control of up to 8 simultaneous, independent music zones throughout the home. Music formats supported include uncompressed (WAV), MP3, WMA, AAC and FLAC. Aios™ control solutions include the Aios.h™ family of reference designs for handheld, graphical remote controllers and embedded (on-device) display controllers. Aios.c™ is a comprehensive PC/Mac/Linux music library manager, music server and whole-home zone control application. Networking standards supported include 802.11n/g, Ethernet as well as emerging power line technologies. The products are offered as verified, turn-key hardware and software modules, or in rare cases, individually licensed IP blocks.
