The Aios™ Basic Media Player (BMP) reference design is a simplified version of the Rich
Media Player, excluding the color LCD display and power amplifier. The BMP is intended
to provide networked audio streaming to existing equipment in the home and is typically
connected to TVs, bedroom radios, micro hi-fi systems and A/V receivers. The BMP can be controlled using an IR remote, the Aios.h™ handheld graphical controller or the Aios.c™ PC application, or a combination of all of these interfaces. Multiple BMPs can be configured into zones including whole-home “Party Mode”. The out-of-box setup experience is extremely simple, whether connecting to an existing home Wi-Fi network or where there is no network in the home. |
